Computer and Communication Systems Laboratory (CCSL) was founded in 1999 as a research and educational unit in the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering of the University of the Aegean, Greece. The current research and teaching activity of the CCSL members is well balanced between theory and practice and covers a wide range of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) fields. Areas of interest include novel internet architectures, cloud computing, information servers and integrated platform architectures, Energy & Context next generation networks & services, mobile and wireless networks, heterogeneous radio technologies and reconfigurable networks, satellite communications, ad-hoc, mesh and sensor networking.
